Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting variety earned her acclaim in a variety of genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson lived within New York City as the daughter an architect and a production company. She and her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. When she was a child, she developed a passion for acting and began performing in commercials by the age seven. She enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute shortly after, and later went to the Professional Children's School, Manhattan to further her education. In the year she turned eight old, Johansson appeared alongside Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. At the age of nine she made her acting debut in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson starred next on screen in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut by starring in Manny & Lo - a story of two sisters and orphans that are able to escape. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson played a teenage victim of an horrific crash. Her role in Ghost World brought her more recognition as the troubled teenager Rebecca. She has a vast experience as a stage actress in addition to appearing on the show. Her performances have been spectacular in plays like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a young girl when she started her entertainment career. It was her love of acting as young. Smith got her first of many acting roles when she was just 6. She was a part of a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. She decided, like many actresses who are just starting out, to refine her acting skills. She was involved in various productions in the USA in the midst of making her debut on stage. She studied at The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory part of the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts'.
